Pakistan condemns suicide bombing in Afghan capital

Pakistan on Monday strongly condemned the attack in Kabul at a police compound which resulted in the loss of innocent lives and injuries to several others.

Afghan officials say that 20 people were killed and 29 others injured when a suicide bomber struck the entrance to a civil order police compound in Kabul.

"The Government of Pakistan expresses its condolences to the Government of Afghanistan as well as the bereaved families," the Foreign Ministry said.

"We reiterate our condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations," a Foreign Ministry statement said.

Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack. Endit
