Spanish stock market rises 2.62 pct, closes at 8,815 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.62 percent on Friday to close at 8,815.80 points, up from the 8,590.60 points of Thursday.

Share values were up 1.07 percent in the week as a whole, with the risk premium falling from the 124.20 points of Monday to the 118.90 points of Friday. Spain's 10-year bond interest rate fell from Monday's 1.7 percent to Friday's 1.5 percent.

On Friday session, Gamesa shares led rises by climbing 18.82 percent, followed by Banco Sabadell, Banco Popular, Caixabank, Telefonica and FCC that rose 11.98 percent, 6.95 percent, 3.81 percent, 3.56 percent and 3.33 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led falls by losing 5.58 percent, followed by Acciona, Acerinox and Iberdrola that lost 0.24 percent, 0.10 percent and 0.03 percent, respectively. Endit
