Xinhua, January 29, 2016 Adjust font size:

China's 2015 fiscal revenue grew at its slowest pace since 1988 as the economy slows, data from the Ministry of Finance showed on Friday.

Fiscal revenue rose 5.8 percent year on year to 15.22 trillion yuan (2.3 trillion U.S. dollars) last year, slowing from the 8.6-percent rise seen in 2014, according to the ministry.

The expansion was also below the 7.3-percent fiscal income target set for the year.

China's economy grew by 6.9 percent year on year in 2015, its lowest annual expansion in a quarter of a century. Endi
