Chinese shares open lower Friday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.11 percent at 2,652.85 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index opened 0.06 percent lower at 9,077.11 points. The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, climbed 0.09 percent to open at 1,908.26 points. Endi
