Turkey detains 25 suspected IS militants along Syrian border

Xinhua, January 28, 2016 Adjust font size:

Turkey on Wednesday captured 25 suspected Islamic State (IS) militants in two separate operations along its border with Syria, the Turkish General Staff said Thursday.

Border units detained 21 suspected IS members in the southeastern province of Kilis as the group, along with 22 children, tried to illegally enter Turkey from Syria, the General Staff said in a statement.
