Seoul shares end higher

Seoul shares ended higher on Friday.

The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) gained 9.07 points, or 0.48 percent, to 1,906.94 at the close. Trading volume stood at 306.8 million shares worth 4.61 trillion won (4.15 billion U.S. dollars).

The South Korean currency finished at 1,208.5 won against the greenback, up 6.5 won from Thursday's close. Enditem
