CBA Roundup: Liaoning, Shandong extend winning streaks

Liaoning and Shandong extended their winning streaks while Beijing lost their sixth straight road game in the thirty-fourth round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Wednesday.

Five players scored double digits and helped Liaoning claim an easy 106-84 road victory over Bayi, extending their winning streaks to 13 games.

Shandong grabbed their eighth straight win by beating Tianjin 119-97. Shandong's Michael Beasley had 25 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists, Pooh Jeter scored 21 points, Tao Hanlin scored 24 points and Li Jingyu and Yang Li combined for 21 points.

Marshon Brooks scored 39 points and led Jiangsu smash Beijing 113-94, extending their winning streak to seven games.

Jamaal Franklin had a triple-double of 30 points, 12 boards and 18 assists and led Shanxi thrash Qingdao 129-117. Six players scored double-digits and helped Jilin defeat Aolong 118-110 at home.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, Xinjiang edged Guangsha 106-105, Zhejiang beat Shenzhen 113-105, Sichuan enjoyed a 101-93 victory over Guangdong.

In Tuesday's games, Foshan tamed Shanghai 127-113, and Fujian defeated Tongxi 112-107. Endit
