Dollar trades in lower 118 yen zone in early Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 118 yen level in Tokyo trading early Wednesday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.40-41 yen compared with 118.38-48 yen in New York and 117.77-79 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.0862-0863 dollars and 128.61-63 yen against 1.0865-0875 dollars and 128.65-75 yen in New York and 1.0866-0867 dollars and 127.97-128.01 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Enditem
