New online platform to facilitate China-CEEC agricultural cooperation

Xinhua, January 26, 2016 Adjust font size:

An online platform has been launched with the aim to facilitate and increase agricultural cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), officials said here on Tuesday.

The platform, created by the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the Central and Eastern European Countries, allows CEEC farmers to present their products and quantities they could export to China, the association said in a statement.

Registration and participation on the association website, www.china2ceec.org, are free of charge, the statement said.

The new tool allows Chinese investors to access all the necessary information in one place, and aims at increasing trade and facilitating commercial contacts, it said.

The farmers could also cooperate in cases of Chinese interest in buying goods and making investments, the statement said.

The association was established at intergovernmental level in Sofia in June last year to coordinate the activities of the ministries on the one hand, and the businesses on the other hand. Endit
