Chinese ambassador to Columbia appointed

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed a new ambassador to Columbia upon approval by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Li Nianping was named as the new ambassador, replacing Wang Xiaoyuan, according to a statement by the national legislature on Monday. Endit
