Israeli war jets strike on southern Gaza in response to rockets firing

Israeli war jets struck on Monday predawn on military facilities of Hamas movement in southern and central Gaza Strip, no injuries reported, according to security and medical officials.
Eyewitnesses said Israeli war jets had first hovered over the Gaza Strip and then fired at least two missiles on a Hamas military west of the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis.
They added that after a few minutes, Israeli war jets carried out another airstrike against a training military facility that also belongs to Hamas armed wing al-Qassam Brigades.
Hamas security officials in Gaza said the Israeli airstrike caused no damages or injuries.
An Israeli army spokesman said in a press statement that Israeli air forces attacked by air-to-ground missiles training military facility that belongs to Hamas movement in southern and central Gaza Strip in response to earlier rockets firing.
On Sunday evening, unknown militants fired two rockets from the Gaza Strip into southern Israel, according to the spokesman, adding that the rockets landed at an empty area causing no damages or injuries.
No one claimed responsibility for the rocket attack.
Since the end of the Israeli large-scale offensive waged on the Gaza Strip that lasted for 50 days and ended in Aug. 26 in 2014, several militant groups in the coastal enclave have been frequently firing rockets from Gaza into southern Israel.
The Israeli army usually holds Hamas responsible for the rockets attacks, where Israeli war jets carry out airstrikes on its military bases allover the Gaza Strip. Endit
