Former senior political advisor dismissed for discipline violation

A former senior political advisor in east China's Jiangxi Province has been dismissed from his post for suspected serious discipline violations.

Liu Lizu, vice chairman of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference since February 2012, was dismissed at a meeting of the regional advisory body that ended on Friday.

Liu, born in July 1955, was head of the provincial forestry department between March 2004 and 2012. Endi
