Indian police have arrested 14 suspected Islamic State (IS) supporters or sympathizers in a nationwide crackdown on terrorists, said local TV channel Times Now Friday.

Six people suspected to have links with IS were arrested in the southern state of Karnataka while one was nabbed in Mumbai as suspected "IS recruiter", said the report.

Arrests were also made in two other states while the police operation is still going on, said the report. Endit
