Zarate joins Fiorentina frm West Ham

Argentine forward Mauro Zarate joined Italian Serie A team Fiorentina from West Ham, it was announced by the Premier League club on Thursday.

Zarate signed for West Ham from Velez Sarsfield in 2014 but struggled to hold a regular first team place after the arrival of coach Slaven Bilic.

Zarate was loaned to QPR last season, scored only 5 goals in 21 outings in all competitions for West Ham this season.

It was reported that Zarate has agreed a two and a half year contract with Fiorentina. Enditem
