Dollar moves to upper 117 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 117 yen level in early trading Friday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 117.93-94 yen compared with 117.65-75 yen in New York and 116.74-75 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro traded at 1.0858-0859 dollars and 128.05-07 yen against 1.0870-0880 dollars and 127.93-128.03 yen in New York and 1.0906-0907 dollars and 127.32-36 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
