Iceland lifts nuclear-related sanctions against Iran

Icelandic foreign minister Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson on Tuesday signed a regulation to remove all economic and financial restrictive measures against Iran related to nuclear issues.

"There is a reason to celebrate this milestone, which proves that trade sanctions can have a real impact on the international scene. International cooperation and negotiation is a more successful way to resolve the dispute than gunfire," said Sveinsson in the statement. Endit
