Huawei launches website in Spain to help train youngsters

Xinhua, January 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei on Thursday announced the launch of a new website to help Spanish youngsters train in the field of new technology.

The website -- www.huaweieducacion.com -- is part of the company strategy "responsible social cooperation through education."

Recent initiatives include a third edition of its post-graduate course jointly taught by Huawei and the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM).

Huawei and the National University of Distance Learning (UNED) announced last November the creation of a further course in cloud computing and big data, aimed at young Spaniards.

The company is also preparing its fourth year of grants for those interested in studying in Huawei's central offices in Shenzen, China. Endit
