Spanish stock market falls 0.87 pct

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 fell 0.87 percent on Monday to close at 8,469.30 points, down from the 8,543.60 points of Friday.

On Monday session, Sacyr shares led falls losing 6.18 percent, followed by FCC, Tecnicas Reunidas, Banco Sabadell, Banco Popular and Bankinter that lost 5.70 percent, 5.01 percent, 4.52 percent, 2.77 percent and 2.35 percent respectively.

On the other hand, ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 3.62 percent, followed by Ferrovial, Caixabank, Merlin, Gamesa and AENA that rose 1.45 percent, 0.78 percent, 0.62 percent, 0.43 percent and 0.11 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 128 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.746 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Friday. Endit
