1st LD Writethru: Gunshots in Slovak capital leaves two dead

Two people are dead, including a suspected gunman, following a shooting in the Slovak capital of Bratislava on Friday.

According to the report by local news agency TASR, a man, 37, shot dead a woman, 45, at the intersection of Mozartova and Bartokova streets near the city center around 6 p.m. (1700 GMT) before turning the gun on himself.

Spokesperson of the Slovak Police Tatiana Kurucova confirmed this tragedy to media, without giving more information on the incident.

"The police has made the necessary investigation. No more information is available," said Kurucova. Endit
