British FTSE 100 decreases 1.93 pct on Friday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Friday decreased by 1.93 percent, or 114.13 points, to 5,804.10 points.

Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 3.74 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Shire, Admiral Group, Next, SABMiller increased by 1.19 percent, 1.18 percent, 1.05 percent and 0.43 percent respectively.

Anglo American Group led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 11.49 percent, followed by Glencore (6.51 percent), BHP Billiton (6.39 percent), Hargreaves Lansdown (6.37 percent) and Antofagasta (5.98 percent). Endit
