U.S. dollar trades in lower 118 yen range in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 118 yen range in early deals in Tokyo.

At the start of trade, the dollar was quoted at 118.22-24 yen compared with 118.01-11 yen in New York and 118.09-11 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0856-0858 dollars and 128.35-37 yen against 1.0861-0871 dollars and 128.24-34 yen in New York and 1.0859-0860 dollars and 128.24-28 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Enditem
