Indian stocks closed lower on Thursday as gloom enveloped global markets.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 24,772.97, 81.14 points or 0.33 percent down from the previous close of 24,854.11, with a turnover of 780.28 crore rupees (about 116.3 million U.S. dollars). Endit
