A 6.7-magnitude earthquake jolted sea area off Hokkaido, Japan, at 11:25 a.m. Beijing Time on Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 50 km, was monitored at 42.04 degrees north latitude and 142.86 degrees east longitude. Endite
