CBA Roundup: Liaoning end Sichuan's 11-game winning streak

Liaoning claimed a 111-94 road victory over Sichuan, ending their 11-game winning streak in the 13th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Wednesday.

Liaoning's Lester Hudson scored 36 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Shavlik Randolph had 26 points, Guo Ailun had 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals, and Li Xiaoxu contributed 14 points. Sichuan's foreign trio combined for 63 points, Wang Ruheng had 11 points and Meng Da added 10 points.

Sichuan had an 8-0 run in the start of game and extended the lead to 11 points in the end of first period. Hudson's three-pointers helped Liaoning get back into the game and made it 47-47 in the end of the second quarter and Liaoning never trailed in the second half.

Former NBA player Yi Jianlian's career-high 48 points help Guangdong edge Jilin 118-114,

Xinjiang grabbed its third consecutive wins by beating Shanghai 112-103, and is still leading CBA rankings with 53 points after thirty rounds

Also on Wednesday, Beijing beat Bayi 91-77 at home as Zhai Xiaochuan scored a game-high 23 points. Michael Beasley's 36 points and 14 boards helped Shandong claim an easy victory over Guangsha, despite of six Guangsha players scoring double digits.

Elsewhere, Aolong overwhelmed Foshan 129-97, Jiangsu beat Tongxi 107-92, Qingdao defeated Zhejiang 104-92, Shanxi tamed Fujian 114-104, and Tianjin were 128-118 winners over Shenzhen. Endit
