Senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Zhao Leji met with a delegation of the Democratic Party of Gabon (PDG) to discuss party-to-party ties on Tuesday.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the friendly relationship between the CPC and PDG, said Zhao, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the CPC Central Committee Organization Department.

Zhao called on the two ruling parties to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries to promote bilateral ties.
