Bangladesh stocks close higher

Bangladesh's DSE (Dhaka Stock Exchange) Broad Index closed Tuesday at 4,665.43 points, up 1.81 points or about 0.04 percent Monday's finish.

Among a total of 321 issues traded, 171 registered gains and 111 incurred losses while 39 remained unchanged.

Total turnover increased to about 5.73 billion taka (about 73.50 million U.S. dollars) on Tuesday from about 5.27 billion taka (about 67.58 million U.S. dollars) on Monday. Endit
