LME base metals close lower on Monday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Monday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 102 U.S. dollars, or 2.27 percent, to 4,391 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 25 U.S. dollars, or 1.68 percent, to 1,467 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 42 U.S. dollars, or 2.55 percent, to 1,602 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 36 U.S. dollars, or 2.38 percent, to 1,479 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 107.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.27 percent, to 8,362.5 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 175 U.S. dollars, or 1.27 percent, to 13,650 U.S. dollars a tonne. Endit
