Spain's industrial production rises by 5.7 pct in Nov.

Spain's industrial production rose by 5.7 percent in November in comparison with the same month of a year earlier according to the Index of Industrial Production (IPI) published on Monday by Spain's Statistical Office (INE).

The INE reported that production of consumer goods rose by 6.4 percent in November on a year-on-year basis, with production of durable consumer goods and non-durable consumer goods rising by 6.6 percent and 6.4 percent respectively.

Production of capital goods increased by 11.5 percent and production of intermediate goods rose by 6.1 percent, while production of energy fell by 2.9 percent.

So far, Spain's industrial production only fell in January and October in 2015 year-on-year rising for the first time by the end in 2014 after registering falls since the beginning of the crisis in 2007. Endit
