4 killed, 30 injured in traffic accident in western Turkey

Four people were killed and 30 others injured early Friday when a bus carrying illegal refugees crashed against a car in Turkey's western province of Canakkale, Turkish media reported.

According to preliminary reports, the four, two of whom were refugees, in the car died on the scene and 30 refugees were wounded, the private Dogan news agency said.

It said the bus was carrying illegal refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and Myanmar to the Greek island of Lesbos.

Police has launched an investigation into the accident, the report said. Endit
