Hertha Berlin snap up Bayern talent Sinan Kurt

Berlin have signed Bayern youngster Sinan Kurt until June 2019, both Bundesliga clubs confirmed on Thursday.

The 19-year-old striker joined from Bayern Munich and put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal with Berlin.

"Sinan Kurt is a young and very talented striker, who has a bright future. We believe that he will absolutely reinforce Hertha," Berlin's sporting director Michael Preetz said.

The youngster joined Bayern Munich from Monchengladbach in 2014. He made one appearance for the senior team and scored one goal in 16 games for the second string ever since.

"I had very trusting talks with manager Michael Preetz and coach Pal Dardai. Hertha has a good team and plays a great season so far. I was looking for a new challenge," Sinan Kurt said.

Sinan Kurt is the second youngster, after Mitchell Weiser, who joined Berlin from Bayern Munich.
