British FTSE 100 decreases 1.96 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 1.96 percent, or 119.30 points, to 5,954.08 points.

There were only three gainers in FTSE 100 Index. Share price of Randgold Resources increased by 1.73 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Next and Marks & Spencer Group increased by 1.09 percent and 0.11 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 11.00 percent, followed by Glencore PLC (8.32 percent), Aberdeen Asset Management PLC (7.78 percent), Antofagasta PLC (5.33 percent), easyJet PLC (5.06 percent). Endit
