Top seed Agnieszka Radwanska eased past Wang Qiang to reach the semifinals while No.6 seed Eugenie Bouchard was ousted by Timea Babos in the WTA Shenzhen Open on Thursday.

Polish star Radwanska needed just 63 minutes to beat Chinese Wang 6-3, 6-2, holding all nine of her service games.

"Last year we played each other in Tianjin, I think she played a much better match this time, but I really pushed myself to play my best tennis today," Radwanska said.

Bouchard from Canada ended her first WTA quarter-final since last year's Australian Open with a loss to an on-fire Timea Babos from Hungary, who broke once per set and fended off all five break points to prevail, 6-4, 6-4.

Anna-Lena Friedsam from Germany edged Katerina Siniakova from the Czech Republic, 6-4, 2-6, 6-1, while American Alison Riske rallied past Anett Kontaveit from Estonia, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3. Endit
