Sweden's Johansson Emil and Bjoern Mimmi swept the men's and women's short-distance freestyle skiing respectively on Thursday at the FIS China Tour in West Ujimqin banner (county), located in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

Seventy-five skiers from China, Sweden, Norway, Russia, the United States and other teams competed in the 1.2-kilometer freestyle races.

American Brooks Holly and Swedish Andersson Terese finished second and third respectively in the women's action. They were followed by China's Chen Shuang.

"I accumulated some experience here for the upcoming Chinese Winter Games," Chen said.

Emil triumphed in the men's race, beating Norway's Hammer Martin into second place. The long-distance champion Johansson Lukas came in third. Endi
