Indonesia's foreign tourist arrival slightly up in November: statistic bureau

The number of foreign holiday makers coming into Indonesia in November rose by 1.7 percent to 777,500 people from a year earlier, the national statistic bureau announced here on Monday.

In Bali, the center of Indonesia's tourism industry, the number of foreign tourist arrivals increased by 10. 76 percent to 293,900 people, Suryamin, head of the bureau told a press conference at the bureau headquarters.

The Indonesian government will add the inclusion of countries having free visa facilities to 84 from 45, Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Fishery Rizal Ramli has said.

Indonesia expects 20 million foreign holiday makers visiting the country by 2020, according to the minister. Enditem
