Israeli war jets strike on Gaza in response to rockets firing

Israeli war jets carried out on Saturday four successive airstrikes on military targets belonging to Islamic Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip, security officials and eyewitnesses said.

The officials in the Hamas-run security in the coastal enclave said that two of the strikes hit two training facilities belonging to Hamas armed wing al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza city and in northern Gaza Strip.

They added that two other airstrikes targeted an area southeast the town of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip and another area in central Gaza Strip.

Medical officials said that no injuries were reported in the four airstrikes.

Israeli public radio, which quoted an Israeli army spokesman, reported that the airstrikes on the Gaza Strip was an immediate response to earlier rockets attacks fired from Gaza into Israel. No damages or injured were reported, the radio said.

No one claimed responsibility for the rockets firing. Endit
