British FTSE 100 decreases 0.51 pct on Thursday

The FTSE 100 Index, Britain's benchmark stock market gauge, decreased by 0.51 percent, or 31.73 points, to 6,242.32 points on Thursday.

The share price of Vodafone Group increased by 1.54 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Sports Direct International, Rio Tinto, Worldpay Group and Babcock International Group increased by 0.70 percent, 0.69 percent, 0.68 percent and 0.59 percent, respectively.

Experian led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 1.96 percent, followed by National Grid (1.96 percent), Sainsbury (1.87 percent), TUI AG Reg Shs (1.87 percent) and Centrica (1.86 percent). Endit
