British FTSE 100 decreases 0.64 pct on Wednesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Wednesday decreased by 0.64 percent, or 40.52 points, to 6,274.05 points.

Share price of Antofagasta increased by 2.47 percent, topping the gainers of the blue chips. Worldpay Group, International Consolidated Airlines Group SA, Next and Shire increased by 1.22 percent, 0.74 percent, 0.55 percent and 0.47 percent respectively.

Glencore led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 3.54 percent, followed by Hikma Pharmaceuticals (2.80 percent), Standard Chartered (1.69 percent), Royal Bank of Scotland Group (2.35 percent) and BHP Billiton (1.96 percent). Endit
