He said that the soldiers were on their way to provide water to check posts located at remote areas when their vehicle was targeted by the unknown militants.

In a separate incident, one soldier was killed and another injured when some unknown militants opened fire at them in Turbat area of the province.

Police said that some unknown gunmen opened fire at the FC personnel in Dasht area and fled the scene.

In the third incident, three militants including the key commander of a banned outfit were killed when FC raided their compound in Turbat.

The FC spokesman said that the operation was launched on a tip off received about the presence of suspected militants in the area.
