Czech man kills family members on Christmas Eve

Xinhua, December 29, 2015 Adjust font size:

A man, a woman and a boy were found dead in a fire and the consequent explosion in a house in the Czech town of Ceske Budejovice on Christmas Eve, police said on Monday.

The man in the house killed his wife and son and subsequently started a fire in which he himself died, said the South Bohemian police spokesman Miroslav Doubek.

Doubek said the results was proved by the autopsies. The police are checking further facts.

Doubek said the fire and consequent explosions endangered the surrounding area of the house, including the traffic in a main street.

The police are also investigating the case as a public menace. The traffic in the street where the explosion happened was restricted for two days because of the tragedy.

Firefighters found the body of a man in the garage. And they later found another two charred bodies in the house. Endit
