Search for 58 missing people continues as 6 more bodies recovered from Indonesia's sunken boat

Rescuers have discovered six more bodies and kept searching for 58 more missing people after a boat capsized in eastern Indonesia on Saturday, spokesman of rescue office disclosed on Thursday.

As many as 40 people have been evacuated from the boat that sank in Bone gulf of South Sulawesi province, said Zainul Tjahar, spokesman of national search and rescue office.

"As many as 60 people have been found, 20 of them have been dead," Mr. Zainul told Xinhua by phone.

The search operation is carried out involving planes, helicopters, ships and boat, he said.

KM Marina Baru 02B boat was on route from Kolaka in Southeast Sulawesi to Siwa seaport of South Sulawesi when it was reported missing at 15:10 p.m. Saturday, according to the spokesman. Endit
