Direct flights link Xi'an, Sydney

Hainan Airlines launched a direct flight between Xi'an, capital of northwest China's Shaanxi Province, and Sydney, Australia's largest city, on Wednesday.

The service will operate twice a week with an Airbus A330.

Xi'an, an ancient Chinese capital, is a top tourist destination for foreigners visiting the Terracotta Warriors. Hainan Airlines has launched flights linking the city with Seattle, Paris, Rome and Tokyo. Endit
