Dollar in upper 120 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 120 yen zone in early trading on Thursday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 120.94-95 yen compared with 120.88-98 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Japanese markets were closed on Wednesday for a national holiday.

The euro meanwhile fetched 1.0908-0909 dollars and 131.92-94 yen against 1.0906-0916 dollars and 131.85-95 yen in New York late Wednesday afternoon. Endit
