Xinhua, December 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

Lindsay Renolds is closer to his first Asian Tour title after carding a second round four-under-par 68 to keep his lead at the Philippine Open on Saturday.

The Phuket-based Canadian led by one stroke on 10-under-par 134 and is trailed closely by Scott Barr of Australia, who charged into contention with a superb 66 at the 300,000 U.S. dollars Asian Tour event.

Home favorite Miguel Tabuena was also in the title mix following a 69 as he shared third place with five-time Asian Tour winner Gaganjeet Bhullar (69) of India, Kalle Samooja (67) of Finland and Giwhan Kim (68) of South Korea on 136 at the Luisita Golf and Country Club.

"It is exciting to be in this position," said Renolds. "My game feels good and I feel good. I'm not really worried or nervous. We will see what tomorrow brings. It is just another round of golf for me." Endi
