Norway, Netherlands make women's handball worlds final

Norway beat Romania 35-33 Friday evening to set up the final clash with the Netherlands at the 2015 Women's Handball World Championship in Herning, Denmark.

It is the sixth time since 1997 the Norwegian team has qualified for the final of the world championship.

The two teams were well-matched and the score was tied eight times during the first half. After 19 minutes, the Norwegians scored 3 goals in a row to take a 14-10 lead. The first half ended up with the score 17-14 in favor of Norway.

The tendency continued after the interval until the Romanian scored four goals in a row, overtaking the lead 21-20 after 46 minutes. The score rose alternatively and was tied at 27-27 after 60 minutes.

The Romanian kept fighting their way back in extra time, but Norway's victory was secured with Camilla Herrem's goal just seconds before the end of the match.

The final is scheduled for Sunday, when Romania will also fight for bronze against Poland who lost to the Netherlands 25-30. Endi
