Guangsha seizes the lead in CBA

Guangsha beat Fujian 128-112 for its 12th consecutive victory and topped the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Friday.

Eli Holman had 23 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks for Guangsha, which recorded the longest winning streak in the club history, while Lin Chih-Chieh grabbed 19 points and three rebounds.

Guangsha improved to 17-2 and Xinjiang fell to 16-3, after half of 38 regular-season matchups finished.

Xinjiang lost to Liaoning 104-86 as Andrew Goudelock and Andray Blatche lost precision.

The duo who combined for 62 points in the last round had 24 in the game against the 2015 runner-up.

Lester Hudson led Liaoning with 28 points and eight assists, and Han Dejun contributed 23 points and 10 rebounds.

A spectator hit a tin to Guo Ailun after the final whistle. Liaoning guard fell with his face covered in blood and the spectator was taken away by police.
