5 injured in bomb blasts at Bangladeshi mosque

At least five people were injured when two bombs were detonated at a mosque in Bangladesh's seaport city Chittagong on Friday.

The attack came shortly after Friday's weekly Juma prayers at the mosque inside the BNS Issa Khan naval base of the Bangladeshi Navy in Chittagong, some 242 km southeast of capital Dhaka.

"So far we've five injured in the blasts," a police officer told Xinhua.

The police officer who preferred to be unnamed said two unexploded bombs have been found in the mosque later.

No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

Two people have been arrested in regard to the bombings. Enditem
