Two tourists killed in boat collision in Maldives

Two tourists were killed in a collision between a speedboat and a diving boat near Kaafu Maafushi, in the Maldives on Thursday, local media reports said.

The deceased have been identified as a Malaysian woman aged 16 and a Chinese woman aged 42.

Police said that the diving boat had been carrying six people while the speedboat had four. None of the remaining passengers suffered any serious injuries. Endit
