Police seize 19.5 kg heroin in NW China

Police in northwest China's Gansu Province have seized 19.5 kg heroin when they are investigating a drug trafficking gang.

Lanzhou Police said they have nabbed three suspected drug dealers, two at highway exits in Lanzhou, one in Yunnan's Dali after months of investigation, seizing the heroin on the backseat of one suspect's car in Lanzhou.

Two vehicles used for drug trafficking were also seized.

The maximum sentence for anyone convicted of selling or producing more than 50 grams of heroin is the death penalty. Endi
