Albanian GDP up 2.02 pct in 2014

The Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) Saturday announced that Albania's gross domestic product (GDP) was valued at 1400.549 million ALL (10.99 billion U.S. dollars) in 2014, up 2.02 percent year-on-year.

Based on these results, the country's GDP per capita in 2014 amounted to 484,000 ALL (3,799 U.S. dollars), up from 466,000 (3,652 U.S. dollars) in 2013.

This growth is mainly driven by "professional services and administrative services," "trade, transport, accommodation and food services," "agriculture, forestry and fishing" and other branches of the economy. Endi
