Spanish stock market falls 1.51 pct, closes at 9,630 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex 35 fell 1.51 percent on Friday to close at 9,630.70 points, down from the 9,778.70 points of Thursday.

Share values were down 4.43 percent in the week as a whole with Spain's risk premium closing at 109.40 points, slightly above the 106.30 points of last Friday.

Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.63 percent, slightly below the 1.744 percent of a week ago.

During Friday's session, ArcelorMittal shares led falls losing 5.89 percent, followed by ACS, Gamesa, Repsol, Sacyr and BBVA that lost 4.29 percent, 3.25 percent, 3 percent, 2.97 percent and 2.40 percent respectively.

On the other hand, FCC shares led rises climbing 3.37 percent, followed by Mediaset, Enagas, Caixabank and OHL that rose 0.40 percent, 0.33 percent, 0.23 percent and 0.05 percent respectively. Endit
